Cats are cute, cuddly and a hell of a lot cheaper than babies - here’s a list of reasons why you should be off to your nearest RSPCA instead of reproducing.
Five years ago, aged 33, I decided it was high time I took on some responsibility. I needed something to bring up, to love, to hold, to nurture; eventually play games with. A boy, ideally, who could sit with me while I watched football.
A cat. I needed a cat.
So I jumped in, without much research, after finding Sunny on t’interweb – and soon I had my first born furbaby.
After four weeks I was telling all and sundry, ‘It’s just like having a kid, you know.’
Fast forward five years, with a three-year-old toddler in tow, and I can categorically tell you… it’s nothing like having a kid at all.
Here’s why.
